Lock up your apps. Set your own bail.

Pick the apps and how long. Set your bail: what getting out early costs. Wait it out and it costs nothing.

The shield

Try opening one.

You get this instead. It says when they're out and what bail costs.

  • Fine, I'll wait closes the app.
  • Pay $20 bail calls the bail desk.
  • You see the exact price first. Then Apple charges.
  • Websites get a shield too.

How it works

Three steps. Then the door shuts.

Pick the inmates, the time and the way out. Then hold to lock up.

1

Who's going in?

Apps, whole categories or websites. Picked in Apple's own picker.

2

For how long?

Half an hour, until tomorrow, up to a week. Or on repeat.

3

Way out

What it costs to get out early. You set it.

Once the door shuts, only bail or time gets them out.

You get about 3 seconds to say Wait, undo. After that a sentence only gets stricter: longer, pricier, more inmates.

Way out

Set your own bail.

From $1 to $10,000. Or no bail, and only time gets them out.

Waiting is free. You only pay if you cave.

$20
The house default.

Out early: pay $20.

Dollars here. Your own currency in the app.

Parole and conditions

Solve your way out.

Parole swaps the money for challenges. Solve them and you walk. No charge.

Conditions stack both: solve first, then pay. Stop halfway and you pay nothing. Your apps stay inside, though.

Repeats and visits

Curfew, on repeat.

Lock the same apps every night or every workday. Presets fill it in one tap.

Edit or delete it while it's open. Never while it's locked.

Locked every day, 22:00 to 07:00.

Your week

Open now. Locks today at 22:00.

Paying bail opens it until the next lock.

Visits

A long sentence can have visits. Sundays 14:00 to 16:00, say. During a visit your apps are free. The sentence stays.

Pay bail up front

How much is your focus worth?

Pay once. It's yours to keep, unless you cave.

Pick a number that hurts to lose. Each sentence's bail comes out of your bail fund. Serve it and it comes back.

Escape while a sentence is active and the whole fund is gone. That's the deal.

House rules

Getting around Bail is a jailbreak.

Every way. We thought of them.

Strict mode

On by default. While you're inside, no app can be deleted. Bail included.

Stricter now, softer tomorrow

Tighten a rule and it applies at once. Loosen one and it waits 24 hours.

Escaping doesn't clear it

Come back and it's waiting. Serve it again or pay its bail.

Your rap sheet remembers

Served, bailed out, escaped. An escape resets your clean streak.

The fine print, in the terms

Private by default

No account. No ads. No tracking.

Your sentences, your rap sheet and your bail fund stay on your iPhone.

Anonymous tokens

Apple hands Bail tokens, not a list of your apps. They never leave your iPhone.

No server

Bail has none. There's nothing about you to sell.

Local notifications

Every notification is scheduled on your iPhone. No push server.

Apple handles the money

Apple charges. RevenueCat keeps the receipt under a random id.

Privacy policy

Free. Unless you cave.

We make money when you cave. So we made caving hurt.
